We advise clients, both in the corporate and public sectors, on constitutional and administrative law issues. Our services include advice on the effect the Constitution of South Africa, as the Supreme Law of the Land, has on all areas of law affecting business. Where the State and its organs, as well as persons exercising public powers, make laws or decisions affecting our clients, we advise on administrative and constitutional law remedies, and represent our clients in forums such as the Constitutional Court, High Court or other specialist tribunals.
We have particular experience and expertise in advising municipalities / local authorities on administrative and constitutional law issues, as well as legislation relevant to such environment, including but not limited to, employment, procurement, tender and adjudication procedures and litigation in respect thereof.
In the past year we have advised Telkom on a range of constitutional and administrative law issues. We are also currently assisting the City of Johannesburg with ongoing advice on litigation involving tenders and compliance with procurement procedures in the Housing Department, including advice on related employment issues. |
