Peter le Roux

Prior to joining Brink Cohen Le Roux in 1997, Peter le Roux was a professor and head of the department of mercantile law at the University of South Africa. He was appointed as a director of the firm in 1998 and is currently an extraordinary professor of the University of South Africa. As an academic he maintained a specialist private practice concentrating mainly on labour law, administrative law and alternative dispute resolution.

Peter has extensive experience in all aspects of labour and employment law, including health and safety, and represents a wide range of clients in these fields. This includes advising clients on issues relating to pension funds and medical aid schemes.

He is the co-author of "Essential Labour Law" and co-editor of "Contemporary Labour Law", a monthly publication specialising in South African labour law. He is also co-presenter of the annual seminar on labour law, Current Labour Law, presented by LexisNexis Publishers.
